Faebook (faebook.ca) is a Canadian book discovery site. We collect as little information as possible and do not require an account or any personal details to use the site.

What We Collect

Our web server automatically logs standard technical data on each visit — IP address, browser type, page requested, and timestamp. This is used only to keep the site running securely and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Affiliate Links & Third Parties

When you click a buy link, you leave Faebook and arrive at a third-party retailer (Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Audible, Bookshop.org). Those retailers set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.

Future Services

If we add analytics or advertising (such as Google Analytics or AdSense), this policy will be updated before those services go live.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you may request access to any personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Given the minimal data we collect, there is typically very little to access.
